Topic: Mechanical Damage on Coiled Tubing

Overview: ICoTA Canada will be hosting a 'Technical Forum' on the afternoon of September 27^th (Friday) to discuss industry concerns about mechanical damage to coiled tubing. The format of the 'Forum' will comprise of an opening session of 7 presentations followed by a moderated Q&A session for the panel of presenters.  The 'Forum' will conclude with a general plenary session.

2.00 pm - Opening address - ICoTA President

2.05 pm - 2.20 pm - Overview of mechanical damage types and possible causes - Tomas Padron (BHGE)

2.20 pm - 2.50 pm - Coiled Tubing Service Company presentations summarizing each company's experiences and their individual actions to mitigate damage  (Presenting companies: Element Technical Services, Balanced Energy Oilfield Services, STEP Energy Services and Trican Well Service)

2.50 pm - 3.00 pm - Mechanical damage failure statistics from the US CT service industry - Paul Brown (CoilData)

3.00 pm - 3.10 pm -  How injector head design improvements and automated control can assist in mitigating some types of damage - Erik Z (Stimline) 

3.10 pm - 3.25 pm - Recent test results of injector head improvements - Tim S (NOV)

3.20 pm - 3.35 pm - Break for refreshments & convene panel

3.35 pm - 4.30 pm - Moderated Panel discussion followed by General Plenary session.

4.30 pm - Wrap up followed by Cocktails & Hors d'oeuvres
